<p>Pain au Levain, French for naturally-leavened bread, is a popular type of artisan bread. It is more commonly known as sourdough bread. It is made with starter dough that gives bread a distinct flavor and texture that cannot be imitated by commercial yeast. Pain au Levain is usually a dense bread that has a delicate tang to it. This flavor actually helps to hold the moisture in the bread, so it can stay fresher longer than other breads.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>This type of bread is the oldest form of leavened bread. In 1500 BC, the Egyptians were the first recorded civilization to use this type of bread. This bread is also more famously known from the California Gold Rush in San Francisco. It was a staple food for the miners on their quest for gold.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s National Eggs Benedict Day! Eggs Benedict is a breakfast dish made with two toasted English muffin halves topped with poached eggs, bacon or ham, and tangy Hollandaise sauce. The origin of the dish is a bit of a mystery. One story tells of New Yorker Lemuel Benedict, seeking a cure for his hangover, ordering the mix of ingredients at Waldorf Astoria Hotel in 1894. The Maître d&#8217; was so impressed that he put the dish on the menu. Another claim is that Eggs Benedict was created by another New Yorker Commodore E.C. Benedict. Still another story says the dish originates from the famous New York restaurant Delmonico&#8217;s. Wherever the recipe came from, it is a classic dish that is available every day at the Crema Cafe!</p>

Two seatings are available for both nights: the 1st seating is at 7:00 pm and the 2nd seating is at 9:30 pm. For only $60, you’ll be indulged in a 6-course meal that you’ll never forget! 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Crepes are a type of very thin pancake, made from flour, eggs, butter and milk. The name crepe is French, derived from the Latin “crispa,” which means curled.  The versatility of the crepe is what makes it so appetizing. It can be prepared as a main dish or a dessert. At Crema Café, savory crepes are always made with a special 7-cheese blend and drizzled with a mild garlic cream sauce on top. They can be filled with a variety of cheeses, vegetables and meats. The savory crepe also comes with your choice of a mixed green salad, fresh fruit, or French fries. Sweet crepes always have fresh homemade whipped cream and caramel, as well as a light dusting of powdered sugar. The fillings are various fruits, Nutella, and different types of chocolates. And for both types of crepes, you can either order from the menu, or create your own!</p>
